Effective date: October 28, 2026
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to find, buy, install and manage an eSIM with EzyHop, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That includes everything in WCAG 2.1 level AA. We keep working towards it with every change we make, but we don’t claim that every page fully meets it yet.
This statement covers our website, ezyhop.com, in English and Spanish.
What we do
Design and reading
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA colour contrast.
- Buttons, links and form fields are real HTML controls, and every form field has a label.
- Tap targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Each page has one main heading and a clear heading structure, and a “Skip to content” link lets you jump past the menu.
- Each page tells your browser and screen reader which language it is in.
Keyboard and screen readers
- You can use the site with a keyboard alone.
- We build for screen readers. When your order status changes on the order page, or a form shows a message, the update is announced.
- Decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers. The QR code for your eSIM has a text label.
Phones and small screens
- Pages are built mobile first and work on screens as narrow as 360 pixels without scrolling sideways.
Motion
- Animations on our home page play once and last no more than 5 seconds.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, we turn animations off and show the content in its final state.
Installing your eSIM
You don’t have to scan a QR code. Every eSIM comes with several ways to install it:
- a one-tap install link for iPhone and for Android;
- a QR code, which you can also download as an image;
- the SM-DP+ address and activation code as text, each with a copy button, so you can enter them by hand.
We send the same install details by email. Our emails include a plain-text version as well as the designed one.
Testing
- We run automated accessibility checks (axe) against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules on our public pages, at desktop and phone widths, every time we test the site.
- A page with a serious or critical issue fails the test, and we fix it.
- Automated tests can’t catch everything, so your feedback matters to us.
Known limitations
Some parts of the journey are run by other companies. We choose them with care, but we don’t control how they are built.
- Payment. You pay on Stripe’s secure, hosted checkout page. Its accessibility is Stripe’s responsibility.
- Bot check. On sign-in, checkout and “Find my order” we may show a Cloudflare Turnstile check to stop bots. It usually runs without you doing anything, but sometimes it asks you to confirm you are human.
- Sign in with Google. If you choose “Continue with Google”, the sign-in screens are Google’s. You can always sign in with a link sent to your email instead.
- Your phone’s settings. Installing and turning on an eSIM happens in your phone’s own settings, which Apple, Google or your phone maker design. Our install guides walk you through each step in text.
If any of these gets in your way, tell us. We’ll help you complete your purchase or install your eSIM another way where we can.
Compatibility
The site is built with standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers and with common screen readers. Older browsers and assistive technologies may not support every feature.
Feedback and help
If something on EzyHop is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please let us know through our contact page.
It helps if you tell us:
- the page address (URL) or what you were trying to do;
- what went wrong;
- the device, browser and any assistive technology you use.
If your question is about an order, include your order number (it starts with EZY-). We’ll reply as soon as we can and help you get connected.
